Children are the future of the church and our society.  At Journey, our goal is to build kids' biblical knowledge while encouraging them to apply this knowledge to their everyday life.

Sunday Mornings
9:00 am - Free Breakfast -- Breakfast supplied each week by an adult Bible Study class.
9:30 am - Bible Study -- Faithful teachers lead Bible learning that is activity-based with an emphasis on practical application.
10:45 am - Worship Service* -- We encourage children to participate in the Worship Services through music, drama, and Scripture readings.
*Each week, we offer a children's sermon during the Sunday morning worship service.
*We also offer Children's Church during our Sunday morning worship service for children; ages 4 year olds to 3rd grade. All of our Children's lessons relate to one Bible Story per week. The children learn the story, the Key Verse of the week, and the Bible Point. The parents receive a Home Connect worksheet so they can connect with their children through the Bible lessons throughout the week at home.

Wednesday Nights
6:30 pm -- Children's Discipleship Class: Faithweaver Friends

-- During the school year, we meet upstairs at Journey in the Upper Room. The children enjoy acting out the week's Bible Story, hearing and singing music, making craft projects, and playing games. All aspects of Faithweaver Friends pertains to the Bible Story and Bible Point for the week.
-- During the summer months, we meet at Jacobson Park. First, the children perform a service project (hand out water bottles, clean an area in the park, etc.), then we play games while learning Christian values. If it is raining, we will meet in the children's area at Journey.
