Visiting Journey
What to expect when you visit Journey?
On your first visit to Journey you will meet warm people attempting to live out the teachings of Jesus in their everyday life.
Depending on when you get here, you will be greeted with a smile and shown to either a Bible Study room or Worship space. If you are in need of assistance for any reason, please ask one of our greeters and we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable.
Attire
We have a "come as you are attitude." We believe that God established the church for all people. It's a fashion pot-pourri! We are not concerned with what you are wearing; we are only concerned with sharing God's heart for you as demonstrated in Jesus Christ. You will be comfortable here whether you are wearing jeans and a t-shirt or a coat and tie.
Sunday Mornings
We have breakfast each Sunday morning at 9 am. After breakfast, our Bible Study classes begin at 9.30. Following Bible Study, we celebrate Jesus in a culturally engaging worship gathering that begins at 10.45 am and ends around noon.
Wednesday Evenings
Druing the school year, we have a fellowship dinner that begins at 6 pm (cost $4). After the meal, the students' discipleship class begins at 6.30 pm and the adult Prayer Service begins at 6.45 pm.
